The Academic Portal is a research, consultation, and author resource providing an internet directory for university students, scholars, advocates, and writers interested in government, political science, economics, philosophy, media, law, history, community, citizenship, and other academics.
To browse by category, please click on the subject tabs located across the top of all pages (just under the banner). As you click on each main subject tab, additional relevant tabs will appear in the farthest column to the left. Use these (tabs on the left) to navigate to more specific sections. Or you can also search this website to help find what you are looking for by using the search box (upper right of this page, under banner). This is also good for cross-subject searches.
At the bottom of every page are the easy to use follow buttons. Simply click to get automatic Tweets, Facebook updates, and new WordPress blogs, or visit The Academic Portal on YouTube to check out the "Featured Channels" and find entire course series, seminar series, and topical video playlists.
If you want to share a particular page, you can find share, bookmark, email buttons, etc. just above the follow buttons at the bottom of most every page.
I am excited to announce the addition of an outstanding magazine style news outlet called The Academic Portal News to The Academic Portal family of websites. Visit the front page and the many subsections for the latest relevant news!
Click the Academic Videos tab to watch course lectures, forum speeches, dignitaries, seminars, workshops, and other events from the very best Universities here on TheAcademicPortal.com.
New Twitter API feeds have been added on most every page; located at the top of the farthest right column, providing up to the minute, relevant information about the subject of any particular tab category. Click here to view the Twitter subjects follow "Lists" directly (on Twitter), for whom to follow for tweeted updates on particular topics.
Please support TheAcademicPortal.com by clicking on our advertisements, unobtrusively located at the very bottom and to the far right on most pages. You can also make a direct donation or request a consultation. Thank you!
